I had a fantastic stay at this hotel on the outskirts of Paihia. The location on a quiet hillside offered breathtaking views of the bush and allowed me to unwind and relax. The hotel facilities were top-notch, with spacious and very clean rooms that provided a comfortable stay. The breakfast served by the staff was delicious and set me up for the day ahead. The staff themselves were extremely helpful and welcoming, providing me with great information about the local area and what activities were available.

We had a wonderful stay here on a quiet hillside above Paihia. The location was perfect, giving us a peaceful retreat while still being close to the town. The service was exceptional, with the hosts being incredibly helpful and informative about the local area. The room amenities were fantastic, with a comfortable bed, free Wi-Fi, and a lovely sitting area. We also appreciated the little touches like the free toiletries and the electric kettle in the room. Fantastic breakfast in a quiet and convenient location. Rooms were spacious and facilities were clean. The hosts were welcoming and helpful, providing great tips for local attractions and even organising trips for us.
The bed was too soft for our liking and the room lacked air-conditioning.

The Longhouse is located on a small hill above Paihia in the Bay of Islands, offering stunning views of the surrounding area. the big decked area provides a perfect spot to relax and take in the scenery. Guests rave about the comfortable rooms, spacious bathrooms, and the warm and welcoming service provided by the hosts. the breakfast is delicious and plentiful, with a range of options to choose from.
The location of the Longhouse may be a bit inconvenient for those without a car, as it requires a drive into town for dinner options.
